Karla Holzberger — Registered Trade Marks Attorney

Karla is a valued member of the IP Wealth team, with qualifications and experience in all areas of trade mark law. Her core focus is ensuring your brand is adequately protected with registered trade marks in Australia and overseas, as well as assisting you in monitoring and enforcing your trade marks where required.

Karla has a Bachelor of Business with a Major in Marketing and Juris Doctor with Honours (postgraduate law degree) from Bond University, where she specialised her Juris Doctor studies in the field of corporate business law and intellectual property. She is admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and is also a Registered Trade Marks Attorney.

She has a passion for fighting hard for your trade marks during the examination stage and in oppositions and removal actions. She enjoys utilising her research savvy by locating and fitting all the puzzle pieces together of a brand’s exposure and use as a trade mark, as well as presenting strong and punchy legal submissions.

Karla’s background before joining IP Wealth includes work as a court reporter and at a licensed investigation company where she assisted with investigations on the use and non-use of trade marks and brand protection for many well-known international brands.
